Certainly Studio Inc. was established in January 2005 as a design firm rooted in a
respect for the union of content and design. Certainly offers a range of design services
from corporate identity programs and event branding, to editorial design and advertising. The firm's founder and chief designer is Jim Wagner who has spent more than 20 years as a brand manager and marketing strategist in television news and entertainment. Among the positions he has held are VP of Advertising and Promotion for ABC's Good Morning America (1988-97) and VP of Advertising and Promotion for Universal Worldwide Television (1998-2002) where he marketed several syndicated programs including Maury, Sally, Jerry Springer Show and Xena. He also owned his own consulting firm with clients worldwide including ABC Television, ING and Cox Communications. In May 2004, Wagner earned a post-baccalaureate degree in graphic design in New York City's Parsons School of Design. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies. He has won several marketing and design awards including honors from Broadcast Designers Association and Promax International. |
